As someone who previously, art directed and designed album covers, I know how precious and important it is to us that the cover is cropped just right… so if the original creatives happen to see this, I hope you like my interpretation of what it may have looked like uncropped thanks to this amazing new tech and imagination. 🙂

These took a bit work prompting-wise, however everything is completely done using Adobes new Generative AI tech without any stock imagery and minimal traditional retouching. It’s not pixel perfect but it’s insanely fun and addictive and any photoshop lovers will have their minds blown. Really excited by what this technology will unleash as part of the process of creating concepts and having some fun after the fact.

Whilst back in the day this would have needed a tonne of stock photos, reshooting, and taken forever to recreate the additional backgrounds….. some of these took seconds to generate.

Not just extending the background, combining the perfect amount of prompt engineering and creative thinking…… Scary how good this technology is…. Does this replace the humble designer & retoucher… I don’t know, but what I can say for sure is this tool was pure, super, crazy, and addictive fun to play around with and it unleashed a whole new level of creative freedom and right now in its infancy what possibilities will arise in the very near future.
